Technical Description
Safety equipment for work in confined spaces, produced in a structural aluminum casing with an epoxy paint finish.
The Retractable Rescuer has a base designed to be used in conjunction with the Ultra Safe Tripod.
It features a 4.8mm retractable stainless steel cable, equipped with an auto-locking system and a worker rescue system.
Removable carbon steel crank.
Recommended Use
Equipment developed for use in confined spaces, with the function of fall restriction and rescuer, and not for movement through the crank.
Recommendations
• While using the equipment in fall arrest mode, the crank must be in the "stand-by" position, attached to the side of the winch, allowing the worker to move freely within the confined space;
• Only if the worker experiences a fall and needs to be rescued should the crank be attached to the winch and turned clockwise to remove the victim from the confined space;
• This equipment can only be used for lowering or raising the worker without bearing the weight on the steel cable (for example, climbing or descending via a ladder);
• If the crank is used during the descent or ascent of the worker, it will cause the cable to tangle on the internal reel and lock the equipment;
• Never open the equipment to access its interior, as this will void the product's warranty;
• The product comes with an inspection sheet for greater safety and control of your equipment.
Backup System
The descent of the worker to the workplace should be accompanied by a lifeline and fall arrester, connected to the worker's safety harness at the dorsal point.
