Recommended Use

Fall restriction during horizontal and vertical movement, secured on horizontal rigid line or single point, for work performed at height, such as roofs, truck or ship loading, aircraft and large vehicle maintenance.

Repair and Inspection Indicator

If a fall occurs, and a red part at the junction of the “U” swivel plate becomes visible, then inspection and repair by the manufacturer will be necessary.

Recommendations

• Never release the steel cable abruptly to avoid damage to the equipment.

Release the cable using a cord and maintaining a moderate speed (Ultra Safe offers a 10m cord kit + carabiner with eyelet, sold separately);

• Do not alter or use the fall arrester for another purpose;

• The equipment can only be put into use if all components are functioning properly;

• The steel cable of the retractable line must always be kept constantly tensioned;

• Suitable for a single user;

• The connectors must ALWAYS BE CLOSED and LOCKED;

• ALWAYS consider the Free Fall Zone (FFZ).

• Always ensure that the personal fall protection system is designed in such a way that an impact force of less than 6 kN will be generated on the worker in the event of a fall;

• Never disconnect from the structure;

• The components of the fall arrester cannot be replaced with others, it can only be opened by the manufacturer or an authorized technician;

• Periodically inspect your PPE;

• Always double your safety systems against falls;

• In case of any type of damage the product must be disposed of;

• Send the product to the manufacturer in case of a fall or violent impact, abrasion wear, color change due to UV rays;

• Non-visible internal ruptures may cause a reduction in resistance limiting its functionality;

• Earth and sand are abrasive elements and when they penetrate the product they can gradually reduce its resistance;

• NEVER open the fall arrester!
