• The rope will automatically lock in the mouthpiece;
• To open the hook and release the ladder, lightly throw the rope upwards to release it from the locking device.
Technical Description
The MV-FIX is used to create a connection on the cable, thus establishing an anchorage point for the lifeline, making the ladder use only for access to the workstation.
In possible accidents, the ladder does not have a factor that implies a fall of the user.
The MV-FIX system is made of polyamide, marine-grade aluminum, and stainless steel, which ensure excellent resistance to mechanical, corrosion, chemical, and electrical factors.
It has a certified anchorage point for use with a lifeline system.
The MV-FIX® device consists of four parts:
• Black body with compatible fittings for both “round” or “D” shaped steps. The upper fitting has a thread for locking on the upper step. The lower fitting is used only as a backrest on the second step of the ladder;
• Hook connection with a 95 mm opening, for connection to the cable. It has a groove on its back (full closure position) for accommodating the steel cable;
• 8 mm rope with 7 meters in length, for movement of the hook connection (closing and opening);
• Rope locking device (biter) installed at the bottom of the MV-FIX®.
