RIBBONS AND SEWING THREADS
Both the ribbons and the sewing threads are made of high-tenacity Aramid.
The ribbons are light yellow, and the threads used in all the seams are black, contrasting with the ribbons to facilitate inspection.
Aramid has the following characteristics:
• Lightness: although Aramid is five (5) times stronger than steel of the same weight, it is quite light and comfortable to use;
• High heat resistance: Aramid fibers have high melting temperatures, often over 500°C;
• Chemical resistance: Momentary contact with bases and acids does not compromise the structure of the PPE;
• Cut protection: sharp edges, knives, or piercing tools are unable to cut Aramid.
SEAMS
Individually developed and tested on automatic machines that allow the operator greater quality control and better performance.
• DRF Circular (Radial Force Distribution): A system of circular seams that provide uniform tensile strength distribution, regardless of direction.
• Zig-Zag: Continuous stitching that provides significant localized strength.
PADDING
Both the Thermo Form® foam and the Air Mesh fabric of this belt are resistant to electric arc, high temperatures, and chemical agents.

TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION
Full Body Harness with four (04) anchorage points:
• One (01) dorsal point with a “D” ring;
• One (01) frontal point formed by two “loops” made of aramid straps that must be used together (A/2);
• Two (02) “D” rings at the waist (one on each side of the waist), for positioning work;
• Adjustment straps at the waist and legs with Fast-Fit buckles;
• Optional: two (02) points on the shoulders composed of two reinforced strap “loops” for connecting quick links in suspension work (confined spaces), which must be used with the Suspension Arch (USL400900000).
RECOMMENDED USE
• For restraint, fall arrest, and positioning
• Welding work in metallurgy and steelmaking
• Work with power grids
For restraint and fall arrest, focused on work involving high temperatures, due to the harness being made of flame-resistant materials and welding work in metallurgy and steelmaking.
RECOMMENDATIONS
• Use quick steel mesh (half-moon or delta) to close the front rings;
• Do not use this belt for rope access (ascension and descent “rappelling”);
• Properly adjust all straps, buckles, and carabiners, which should be monitored during the work execution;
• Protect the product during transport and use;
• Do not place weight on the product;
• Avoid contact with chemicals;
• Periodically inspect your PPE;
• Always double your fall protection systems;
• In case of any type of damage, the product should be discarded;
• Never store your equipment when damp or wet inside sealed bags and backpacks.
