The Freno fall arrest device has a very efficient locking system: after successive tests conducted in a laboratory approved by INMETRO with a weight of 200kg and a fall factor of 2, it was verified in all of them a rope slippage of less than 1 cm before the final locking of the device. This result is excellent, especially when compared to most fall arrest devices available on the market, which can slip up to 80 cm when subjected to the same test;

The Freno provides the option to have its absorber or extender sold separately as a replacement part;

The locking system (cam) uses a spring mechanism that maintains homogeneous and constant pressure on the rope, providing excellent anchoring on the rope, easy, quick, and without the possibility of error;

When used in rope access in ascent mode, the Freno generates little friction and allows easy identification of correct equipment use.
