The Freno fall arrest device features a highly efficient locking system: after successive tests conducted in a laboratory accredited by INMETRO with a weight of 200 kg and a fall factor of 2, all tests showed a slippage on the rope of less than 1 cm before the device's definitive locking.
This result is excellent, especially when compared to most fall arrest devices available on the market, which can slip up to 80 cm when subjected to the same test;
The Freno has the availability of having its absorber or extender sold separately as a replacement part;
The locking system (cam) uses a spring mechanism that maintains a homogeneous and constant pressure on the rope, which provides excellent anchoring on the rope, easily, quickly, and without the possibility of error;
When used in rope access in ascent mode, the Freno generates little friction and provides easy identification of the correct use of the equipment.
