The multifunction handle allows the user to:

– unblock the rope and control the descent with the hand on the free end of the rope

– move more easily on inclined or horizontal terrain, thanks to the button on the handle

– position themselves at the work station without having to tie off the device

• The anti-panic function is activated if the user pulls the lever too hard: it locks and stops the descent automatically

• Error capture reduces the risk of an accident due to incorrect installation of the device on the rope. The shape of the cam is designed to improve rope glide when ascending

• The gate on the swinging side plate helps avoid dropping the device and facilitates rope installation when passing through intermediate anchors

• The rotating cam facilitates rope slack. It can also be used to create a progress capture transport system and for short rope ascents (by adding a FOOTAPE or FOOTCORD foot loop and a rope clamp with ASCENSION)

• The swinging side plate locks with a screw, allowing the I’D S to be integrated into rescue kits

• Reduces heavy loads of up to 250 kg (only for experienced users; see the device's usage instructions in the manufacturer's manual)

• Available in two colors: yellow and black.
