SDE Y DOUBLE MGO56 CHOCKER DIELECTRIC HOOK / SDE Y DOUBLE MGO 56 CHOCKER DIELECTRIC HOOK
Code: USL0056DE0CH
Technical description
• Double lanyard with shock absorber for fall restraint, retention, and movement on structures;
• Made of high tenacity polyester webbing, high temperature resistance, with a width of 30 mm;
• Features eyelets with tape protection at the junction ends with the hooks;
• All stitches are in Zig-Zag, providing high localized resistance.
Recommended use
Fall protection for horizontal and vertical movements for users up to 100 kg.
Recommendations
1 Avoid anchor points below the connection line with the harness;
2 Do not expose yourself to Fall Factor 2 – life-threatening risk for the user (Notes 1 and 2);
3 The connection to the harness must always be made by the energy absorber;
4 After the absorber is triggered and fulfills its function of absorbing the energy produced by the fall, the lanyard must be discarded;
5 When used in places near the ground or structures, respect the total length of the lanyard after being triggered: Total length of the lanyard L1 (considering connectors) + Open ABS length + Maximum distance between the user's feet and the anchor points (approx. 1.5m) + Safety height (approx. 1m).
IMPORTANT: whatever the lanyard model, the height of the anchor point in reference to the ground should be at least equal to the Free Fall Zone (FFZ) of the lanyard;
6 Never store your equipment wet or damp inside closed bags or backpacks without ventilation;
7 Read the general instructions in the Manual that comes with the product.
Connectors
• Two (02) MGO56 hooks coated in dielectric polymer for connection to anchor points;
Webbing
Flat strap 30 mm wide, made of high tenacity polyester.
The high tenacity filaments provide greater resistance than other conventional filaments.
Textile material resistant to surface flame (Class F2/1.5 mm) and edge flame (Class K2/1.5 mm), tested in a laboratory approved by Inmetro, according to methods:
• DIN 53438-3/1984 “Testing of combustible materials response to ignition by a small flame – Part 3 (Surface ignition)
• DIN 53438-2/1984 “Testing of combustible materials response to ignition by a small flame – Part 2 (Edge ignition)
Stitching
Developed and tested individually, carried out on automatic machines that allow the operator greater quality control and better performance.
Stitching system
Zig-Zag – continuous stitching that provides high localized resistance.
Thread
Made of 100% Nylon, providing greater resistance to abrasion and other aggressions. In contrasting colors to the straps for better visualization and inspection.
Energy absorber
Its exclusive design allows the absorber to maintain its structure even after being triggered, as it has a backup strap. This ensures extra safety in retaining the worker after a fall. As a result of the complete extension of the open absorber, the Free Fall Zone (FFZ) allows the worker to perform tasks at shorter distances from the impact zone, supporting a maximum load of up to 100 kg (worker + equipment).
Absorber protection
Comes with a protective cover.
• Inner cover made of transparent heat-shrinkable material that preserves the structure of the absorber and allows its condition to be checked. Features dielectric protection 0.6 KV.
